2019 is the year I’m taking charge of my body without making excuses(except for the casual cheesecake… jk🤣)! Although working out is a huge part of this, my hormones are also equally important, and tracking my cycle, well… its life honestly!
A way I’m doing this is by wearing my amazing Ava bracelet! This little nifty investigator tracks everything about me and seriously has taught me so much! It is a medically proven way to track your cycle & fertility and while babies are not in my plans right now, it is so empowering know what’s going on in my body!
It alerts me on my fertile days and gives me heads up when my period is coming, based on basal body temperature, Bpm, & sleeping patterns! and as a bonus, it wakes you up with a soft vibration on your wrist! It syncs to your phone (you download the Ava app once you get your bracelet) and bam! You can take those reports with you everywhere!
To be honest, the way I learned about them was from watching the Bachelorette and seeing that so many of the women are using them to conceive! And while I’m about two years too late for that, and hormonal concerns brought on by a pituitary gland tumor, this nifty nifty predicts my cycle so well! And getting to know my sleeping habits as long as my temperature just puts that cherry on top! For example, the other day I didn’t know why I was so tired and emotional. Opened my Ava app and BAM! Predicted period: NOW “you also only slept 5 hours”🤦🏻♀️
